Accuracy

Built to be checked

A claim is only as good as the proof behind it. Here is what ShelfClaim will and won't do.

  • Every price has a URL and a date

    Open any price to see the shop page it came from and the day it was read.

  • Totals are added up in code

    The model reads and searches. Plain code does the sums, so totals always match the rows.

  • Unreadable spines stay blank

    If a title can't be read, the row keeps its frame and an empty title. Nothing is made up.

  • Rare items go to a person

    Signed copies, first editions and art skip the price lookup and go to a human appraiser.
